Kagney Linn Karter (born March 28, 1987, in Harris County, Texas) was an American model, performer, and entertainer whose career spanned film, dance, music, and fitness. Raised in St. Joseph, Missouri, and later Ridgway, Pennsylvania, she demonstrated early talent in performance-driven activities—including track, cheerleading, and speech and debate—laying the foundation for her confident stage presence.
Born Kagney Linn Necessary, she adopted the professional name “Karter,” which paired naturally with her first and middle names. Throughout her career, she also used alternate spellings such as Kagney Lynn Karter and Kagney Necessary, particularly in her music projects.
At age 18, Karter moved to California to pursue acting and singing. Supporting herself through service jobs and later exotic dancing, she quickly excelled in live performance, earning the title Missouri Déjà Vu Showgirl of the Year (2007). After transitioning into modeling and signing with LA Direct Models, she made her on-camera debut in 2008.
